Train with purpose. Move with confidence. Perform when it matters.

At Resurgence Athletics and Sports Recovery, training is not a one-size-fits-all workout. Every program is built around your current ability, your goals, your schedule, and the physical demands of your life or sport. Whether you are an athlete looking to become stronger, faster, and more resilient; an adult returning to training; or someone who wants to move better and feel capable again, you will receive coaching that meets you where you are and progresses with you!

What We Work On

Strength and Full-Body Training

Build usable strength—not just strength that looks good on paper. Training sessions develop the fundamental movement patterns that support performance in the gym, on the field, and in everyday life.

  • Squatting, lunging, hinging, pushing, pulling, carrying, and bracing

  • Lower-body strength for powerful, controlled movement

  • Upper-body strength with balanced pushing and pulling

  • Core stability for improved trunk control, posture, and force transfer

  • Single-leg strength, balance, and coordination

  • Progressions that fit your experience level and equipment access

Every session is designed to create a balanced training foundation rather than piling on random exercises. Your programming includes the movement patterns that matter most, with a clear purpose behind every exercise.

Athletic Performance

For athletes, training is built around the physical qualities that carry over to sport: strength, movement efficiency, coordination, work capacity, and confidence under fatigue.

Depending on your sport, goals, training age, and season, we may focus on:

  • Explosive power and force production

  • Speed, acceleration, deceleration, and change-of-direction mechanics

  • Jumping, landing, and body-control fundamentals

  • Strength development for contact, stability, and durability

  • Rotational and anti-rotational core control

  • Sport-specific conditioning and energy-system development

  • Off-season development, pre-season preparation, and in-season maintenance

The goal is not to run you into the ground. The goal is to build a stronger, more prepared athlete who can train consistently and perform when it counts.

Mobility, Recovery, and Resilience

Training only works when you can recover from it. Resurgence combines performance coaching with practical recovery strategies so your program supports the complete training picture.

We work on:

  • Mobility that supports the movements you need to perform

  • Warm-up routines that prepare you to train with intent

  • Cool-down and low-intensity recovery strategies

  • Self-myofascial release education using foam rollers, tennis balls, or lacrosse balls when appropriate

  • Training-load awareness, soreness management, and recovery habits

  • Building a sustainable balance between training, sport, work, sleep, and life

Recovery tools do not replace intelligent programming, sleep, nutrition, hydration, and manageable training volume. They are part of a bigger system designed to help you feel ready for your next session.
