About Resurgence Athletics and Sports Recovery

Founded in 2023 from a vision to transform personal fitness and sports recovery, Resurgence has grown through dedicated service to clients throughout the Denver area. We offer mobile personal training services both in-person and virtually online, bringing professional coaching directly to you. Our comprehensive ebook guides are available in 4, 6, 8, and 12-week programs to support your fitness journey. Expanding our services to include sports recovery in the near future, Resurgence is committed to helping clients achieve their health and performance goals through personalized, accessible training solutions.


About Coach Nick

Nick comes from a unique combination of athletic expertise and coaching experience. He was a two-sport athlete in high school, excelling in both football and basketball. Originally recruited as a Division II basketball player and Division I kicker in football, Nick's journey started in Colorado for basketball and eventually took an extraordinary turn when he walked on to the University of Alabama football team. As a member of the Crimson Tide, he contributed to their 2015-16 National Championship as a backup kicker.

Following his time at Alabama, Nick transferred to Austin Peay State University for his graduate year, where he served as both kicker and punter. He set a school record 52-yard field goal, a mark that still stands as second-longest in program history.

Nick's competitive career continued in professional arena football, where he played before injuries ended his career. This diverse athletic background - from high school multi-sport success to college football's biggest stage and professional competition - provides him with a deep understanding of athletic performance and the challenges athletes face at every level.

He currently is a certified personal strength coach (CPT), certified sports nutrition coach (CSNC) and certified stretching and flexibility coach (SFC) through NASM.
